can someone please help me with my ps3 usb headset?

i got the logitech usb headset and i cannot get it to work i can hear when im online but i cant say anything please help me im gettin pissed

in games like warhawk and resistance fall of man you must hold L3 and then talk for it to be broadcast

the only game i know of that just picks up whatever you say is COD 4
