It's 1:55 AM here in Chicago on New years eve which means about 2 hours ago i turned 15 so yay me! now onto a more serious manner, It's been a worser problem the past 3 days. I got a laptop for christmas and i've been playing games till about 1 in the morning and almost all day with my friends playing games. I can fall asleep until 6 or 7 in the morning latly and then i wake up at 1 or 2. I have ADHD so i think that it really a cause lately and i dont take my medication except for tests because i do pretty well without it but i did take it just before break for finals. Are there any tricks for me to fall asleep faster and rest my restless mind?

Try to have some vigorous physical activity every day for at least a half hour. The computer stimulates you, so don't play on it (or play video games) for 2-3 hours before bed time. A hot shower is relaxing. Just before going to bed do something that bores you, avoiding anything that stimulates you. Deep slow breaths also help. Good luck.

Exercise. And you may even try some aromatherapy. Some white noise always helps me! That would be like a fan maybe running. Doesn't have to be on you, it is just that the noise is calming. Circulates the air too, which is healthy for you. Good luck -you are awfully young to have sleep problems hon, try to get a handle on it now, before you have bills and other responsibilities to keep you up at night. Just keep experimenting, you will figure it out. Don't let your stress feed it. And yeah your game is new, but take some time to get outside and wear your own body out!
