While the Bible may be all we need, it is not all there is. Even the Bible tells that the whole world could not hold all the books if everything about God were written that could be written!
That said, here are some suggested readings:
1. The apocrypha...these are the books of stories and history that took place between the old and new testaments. While only accepted as scripture by a very few Christians, even the great Reformer, Martin Luther, said that they were suitable reading for Christians and could enhance one's devotional life.
2. Theology texts and Bible studies available through the Christian book store. Mathew Henry is a very popular commentary on the Bible. Concordia Publishing House can reccommend many others.
3. Christian biographies...this could include the lives of some of the Catholic saints as they may be true stories of those saints who have gone before us saints.
4. Christian autobiographies.
5. I am sorry you only want books that are not made up. I have found that books like: Pilgrim's Progress, Faust, The Chronicles of Narnia and Psychiatrist John White's 6 volume series about Canadian children who get into another world (my personal favorite is "The Tower of Geburah") are a delightful pastime and often teach me significant things about other people and God.

Anything By CS Lewis. You might also look up Dante, a writer from the later dark ages. Very inciteful. How close he gets in his stories is up to you.

of course a lot of misinformed people think The Book of Mormon as false. But if you would just try to read it with a humble heart I know Gods spirit will touch you and a new light will be given in your life. Its another testament of Jesus Christ visiting the americas shortly after his ressurrection. It was an ancient record translated by a prophet of God, Jospeh Smith. Read and ask god yourself. Its blessed my life and I know can bless yours. My prayers go out.

You have GOT to read "the pursuit of man" and "the pursuit of God", by A.W Tozer! These were 2 of the first books I read after becoming a Christian and reading the bible. They are powerful books and changed my relationship with God in a profound way. They are thin books, only about 100 pages I suppose and quite inexpensive really. I have seen them at Books a Million, Hastings, and Barnes and Noble. Please get them and message me after you read one and let me know what you think. Peace
