i just got a ps3 80gig and i was wondering if its possible to download games like mario kart, mario kart 64, james bond, etc. for it.

not intil the PS3 firmware is cracked and people begin making homebrew emulators like you can on PSP
but you can download PS1 games from the PS store and either play them on your PS3 or PSP

The PS store has tons of demos and full downloadable games avail to buy, but not Mario, that's only Nintendo Wii territory.
I heard from someone you can load emulators onto the PS3 hard drive and run games that way for free, but don't ask me how to do it...plus, the graphics would be really crappy on such a high-end system/HDTV set-up.
