I'm starting to think it isn't.

I think it's pointless and a waste of time to argue about it. The argument gets NOWHERE. Everyone is truly confined to their own belief. As I am. Except my belief isn't really a belief at all. Being Agnostic for me is just being open-minded and lets my mind think about other things than God or Gods. I like to search for my own answers than depend on something that I'm not even sure is 100% true. I can't dedicate my life to something that I have even the smallest doubt in. Since everyone in the world does not the follow the exact same religion, I don't think it's necessary and I don't think it should be incorporated in how we all live our lives.

Yes, it is necessary for even those who don't believe in anything. Most of our rules that we govern our society on was based on religion a long time ago.

And some people can't handle not having religion without being immoral and causing destruction. Religion has saved many lives. Even though it is also a cause of disputes.. it has also helped our world.

In some countries, religion is the only way of life. If you live in the United States, you are thankful that you are given the choice to stop believing.

I don't feel it is. I believe you should have some kind of faith, but you don't need to be a religion or practice religion. You can say prayers without being a religion. I only believe a few things, but not the bible. It's not necessary to have a religion to be happy and have faith.

Not to me, but others may have a different opinion and that's totally fine with me. The only time I have a problem with it is when ppl try to force it on me and I'm just not interested.

Some people have to have a religion in order to make it in this life is to believe in something. They may feel as if their success or hope relies on their faith.

I don't follow a religion.
People tend to find comfort in putting their faith and heart into something.

Religion can turn around a lot of people's lives.
It also causes a lot of conflict.. mainly because every religion seems to believe that they're right, and everyone else is wrong.

i believe that it is. there is a lot of contraversy, but think of it this way. " if there really is something out there that is al powerful, why not follow a religion so you will be goo in the long run?. and if there isnt anything, then you will still be ok, because that means nothing will hapen to you."...... i do believe in god though i am a christian and would tell you that you need to follow his word, but you prob wouldnt listne to that. =/
