I must admit, it is kind of creepy. But I guess it really wouldn't matter to you anymore. Since you'd be dead you wouldn't really even think about it.

Very very happy and fulfilled that I've spent my short life up to my own standards, beliefs, and morals. How do you feel having spent your short life trying to dictate how others should spend their lives instead of living your own...only to find out when you die that you will never exist again in the history of the earth or anywhere else for that matter?

Well...I'm still hoping my life will be "long," but...to answer your question in the context that it was given...
I'm definitely not happy about that...
(How do you feel believing that after your short life, you'll be forced to endure an eternity of "disembodied phantomism & ethereal reward or punishment based on things you did right or wrong here on Earth when some of the things you did wrong happened when you were just a dumb kid...?)

I feel fine. I am comfortable in the fact that I will have lived a full and fulfilling life rather than simply marking time, like you, until I die just to be disappointed that there is no more. Well, you won't, actually, be disappointed since you won't even realize that you've been duped by Bronze Age goat herders.
Additionally, I feel good knowing that I can spell.

I feel like I should make the most of the one life I have. I should also take every opportunity to enhance the lives of those around me, as it's their only life as well. I'm glad that I choose to use my mind in a logical fashion, exercised my ability to reason, and embraced truth instead of wasting my life cowering in fear of some imaginary deity and absurd threats about the afterlife.
As to worrying about my death? It will be no different than before I was alive, and that wasn't so bad....lol

It sucks. But then, it's going to suck for all of us because after all of our short lives are over, none of us will ever exist again in the history of the Earth.

Only your dieing will tell, won't it? Then, you will find out the truth.- whatever it may be. But if you are wrong, it will be too late for you to do anything about it. There's an example to think about.
Does it make sense to you to believe in God, die, and find out there is no God: Or -
Not to believe in God, die, and find out there Is a God.
Then you would say, OMG, those Christians were right! And you would be lost. Tell me, which makes more sense to you?

First off, you should learn to spell the word "atheists" (That's with a capital S).
As for your assumption that we are depressed, discontented, or what have you, this is simply not true. Knowing that the end is inevitable lends further enjoyment into day-to-day life, and makes special moments all the more sweet.

Its sometimes deeply scary, but I know I have to appreciate the years, live a life with no regrets and bring as much happiness to those around me as I can before I go.

Great, thanks for asking. I got rid of all the pesky guilt, have a lot more time on Sundays and am getting the most out of the short life I have here on earth. How you doing?

Better than you are going to feel when you find out you spent your entire life being good and worshiping something that does not exist.
