I had really bad acne when i was younger. I am through puberty and my face has cleared up, but i am left with scars from my chin to mid cheek (indents) it isn't noticable in the summer when i get pretty tan or if i do a good job with cover up, but it is still very embarrassing. any suggestions? (besides costly dermatologist procedures..)

ps. these scars are completely healed and have been for some time. i feel like its way too late now.

Rose hips are the seed pod left after the rose petals fall off. You have probably heard of rose hip tea, recommended because it is so rich in Vitamin C. The oil from rose hips, often called rosa mosqueta, is very nutritious and consists of 80 percent essential fatty acids. It was a mainstay of the Incas, for example, for its nutritional qualities.
Rose hip oil is also renowned for its benefits for the skin. In fact, it has multiple benefits. It is particularly famous for any scars, including acne scars. Read about them here:

There are products such as Zenmed available in spas, plus many are for sale on the Internet that claim to be able to lighten ice pick scars, or see a dermatologist about laser treatments or chemical peels.
