Yeah it's true. The world will end on 21 December 2012. I know because I heard it on the late night radio talk show so it must be true.
My advice is to max out your credit cards, mortgage your home if you have one. Oh yeah, don't forget to repent of your sins on Dec 20, 2012.

How delusional... people have shared your false beliefs for thousands of years yet the world is still here.
You claim to believe the Bible... why don't you believe it when it says that the end was supposed to have happened during the lives of Jesus's listeners - it didn't happen then, it's not going to happen in 2012!
See: Matthew16:28 Luke 9:27 Matthew 23:36 Matthew 24:34 Matthew 26:64 Mark 9:1 Mark 13:30 Mark 14:62 Luke 21:32 John 21:22

That kinda defeats the purpose of coming like a thief in the night. Can a thief rob you if you know when he's coming? And if you still get robbed, he ought to slap you and give you a V8. Why would he come right before christmas too? Doesn't he want to see the presents I got? I meant, celerbrate HIS birthday? Of course the end of the world is coming. Don't waste your time being scared. Then when you turn 99 and look at all the other old dusty people next to you, wishing the end of the world would hurry up. you are going to be really, really pissed off! just live your life right. AND BE HAPPY!

So now the bible found some verse to go along with this crap too?!?
Originally, this whole thing started because that's when the Mayan calendar ends (actually a system of 3 calendars), signifying the end of time. Frankly, if the Mayans were so good at predictions, one would think they'd have fared a little better historically.... I really wouldn't worry too much.
If the world is truly going to end anytime soon, it will be because of doomsday prophets actually convincing people that the end is upon us..... People will be the cause of our ultimate demise, not some out-dated calendar invented by a long dead civilization. Don't play into it!! Use your head, and think logically and you'll be doing us all a favor.

HAH
when I was a kid, we were doing duck an cover drills to survive all out nuclear war...
Kennedy, Krushav and Castro were about to let loose the dogs of war
or try the black plague in Europe in circa 1300's (the date alone should have signified the end of days)
We are living in the best of times. Rejoice, participate and go do something nice for someone... it just might make the world a better place.

The prophesies are that in Dec 2012, the world will change as we know it. It can change in a nice way. It doesn't have to be that everyone dies. It can be that God will send everyone a Christ realization where we all realize we are one and live in peace. There are lots of speculations on it and we will just have to wait and see like the rest of us. There is nothing to be afraid of. Jesus said be in the world and not part of it. Don't worry about what is going on. Have faith that God will take care of you and you will be in the right place at the right time. He said , I come like a thief in the night, so be ready. When he comes back, it will be too late for those who don't live by his words. He said to Love God and Love others. So there can be a lot of stuff happen. He said if you cannot change one minute of time, how do you expect to change anything else. Trust in God. That is all anyone who believes in God can do. We do not really ever die. Just our bodies do. so even the worse scenario, you will live on.
Just go with the flow and do the best you can.
Nothing to fear but fear it's self.

People have been predicting the end of this world forever!
Despite their convictions - it never happens.
What root do they refer to for this prediction to have any validity? One cannot rely on the bible, as the bible has already made far too many errors - unless you are willing to go along with the flat earth concept, that the earth is the centre of the universe and that the sun rotates around us? Then, of course, the bible would have you believe in invisible wizards in the sky, talking donkeys and snakes, etc, etc.
Be not afraid, little one! Time to set aside childish things and become an adult?

The FACT is, no one knows the future. Anything can be delayed at any time. We can be sure the world will come to pass one day, but we cannot possibly know when, because we cannot possibly describe the complete state of the world at every moment in time. This feat would require an infinitely fast brain. (or computer)

Christians and Muslims have consensus that except God nobdoy knows when the world is coming to an end. So, to believe in a specific known date for world end itself is againt the beliefs of christianity.
Nontheless, I believe some major incident is going to take place in the year 2012, but definitely it is not going to be end of world.

I don't think the world will end in 2012. Nobody knows the exact time the world will end except God himself and since a lot of people think the world is going to end in 2012, it probably won't. The world would end when we will least expect it.
