Yeah, they will let you out.
After your second offence.
Oh and each one is a field grade article 15, so you will be an E-1, lost half your pay for a month and do 45 days of extra duty for each time you do it.

Or you could just be a man, suck it up and do you damn duty. You signed up for the Marines knowing damn well how long you had to be in, stop your whining.

Dont even blame the recruiters you little pansy!! It is your fault that you werent raised right and you lack the ability to be a real man, not the recruiters.

How much longer do you have in? Finish your term with honor. Smoking weed to 'get out' doesn't work anymore. You might get kicked out eventually, but in the Navy, they'll make your life suck as much as possible FIRST then, maybe, discharge you (or send you somewhere you don't want to go). I'm not sure what you're going through, but I love you guys. I've come across many-a-devil dog and they're all 'special' in my book. Yes, recruiters can lie because the bad ones do. But you'd be shooting yourself in the foot (darn-near blowing off a leg) by smoking pot just to get out. There are so many more bad things in life that people are going through that even the Marines might seem like royalty.

As for specific discharge, either an other-than-honorable or the Big Chicken Dinner, possible brig<----this you do NOT want. Not worth it one bit.

Stick it out a little bit longer and do your term. It's all in YOUR attitude. You're in your boat, you're at where you're at, no time for coulda shoulda woulda, Just Do It! You can do it, bro!

I don't know about any discharges when smoking weed. I always get the munchies and cotton mouth myself.

Seriously, though, why not suck it up and honor your commitment? Yeah, you may hate the green machine, but 20 years down the road, you'll be able to look back and say, "I wasn't a quitter." There is a certain honor in living up to ones word, especially when it's inconvenient and/or unpleasant to have to do so. If you can make it through that remaining time until your enlistment is up, you can and will be able to do just about anything you set your mind to.

Nothing looks worse on a resume than a dishonorable discharge, except maybe a felony....

You know if you think hard enough/buy large enough amount, you just might find a way to accomplish both.

Good Luck.

In the army, first offensive (with weed) you get demoted and an article 15. After that, a dishonerable discharge. Easiest way to get out is to come out and tell them you are gay. It seems to be the easiest way to get out of the military. Plus, you don't want drug use on your record do you?

Usually an honorable or a General discharge, with an RE code that bars you from reenlistment. Quit your whining. Do your time and then get out.

Receiving a BCD is like carrying a FELONY RECORD with you the REST OF YOUR LIFE. What kind of job do you think you can get with a BCD. You won't be able to get any security jobs that require a back ground check.

Why not stick out your enlistment LIKE A MAN. Is this a pattern in your life; things get tough and you want to run? Is that how your MARRIAGE will be? Things get tough and you tell her, "I want out!"???
You really wanna make mommy and daddy proud. Can you imagine the shame they will feel that their little johnny can't hack it and got a BCD?
Pathetic!

First of all if you decide to do this then you are a s***bag. The biggest one I ever heard of. You will also ruin your life. If you do this you will get either a Bad Conduct or a Dishonorable discharge. Then you can kiss your dreams goodbye because no one will hire you.

Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Honor, Integrity, Courage, Bravery, Faith,...

Are these not the values of our military? You don't sound like a Marine. You sound like a whining child. 6 years will pass. You need to identify your weakness or problem and fix it. You must overcome your obstacles. See my first line.

How many before you have accomplished the mission? Don't disrespect the Marine Corps like that. See my first line. It's not their fault that you were not ready. Possibly you should have prepared more before enlisting. There are a lot of resources that could have helped. You sound like you want somebody else to take the blame. You will regret acting cowardly.
