can you forget?

when you have a crush on someone and let say never did anything about it and then something happens like you move away or whatever you just dont see them, how long before you forget?

when i say crush i dont mean lust, i mean you like that person becasue of who they are inside and out.
do you still have feeling of your 1st crush? how long?

the way i see it if they are never more than just a crush then that person in your mind will always be perfect.
okay i think i ramble on to much...i will stop now :D

I understand exactly what you mean...And for me its been...oh 16 years and counting...And i think its actually because you didn't do anything about it, because honestly, there are a couple that I did do something about that I couldn't even tell you their last names anymore...

My 1st crush lasted 5 years... I gave up, his girlfriend was "high quality" It was hard to, that's why I took 2/3 years out of the 5 to forget him.

There's better ones out there.

i think if you crush on someone then leave with that crush you'll still feel it whenever you think of them but you would "learn " to like someone else just by virtue of seeing them aorund

i don't think you ever truly forget. i mean, sure, the feeling get buried underneath daily stress and worries, but they never diminish completely, unless you fall in love.
