I dont think it would ever TOTALLY be wiped out, but how long do you think it will be until organized religions, such as the 5 major ones, are (for the most part) disassembled?

It will never happen. If they go away, new ones will come up in their place. As long as there are questions that science cannot answer, religion will exist.

Once God reveals everything concerning how this earth is governed, how history has evolved, and all the mysteries of Godhood, then I imagine that what used to be known as "religion" will just be facts to us (however, it may still be defined as religion?).

Worship is eternal. The Lord will return for his flock. Until then, an imperfect science will have to be sufficient.

i don't mean to offend anyone but i think the smarter people get, and the more they get interested in knowledge and FACTS rather than leaps on faith the sooner religion will be non-existent. that will only come when our science is good enough to not be doubted upon though, even by religious people. probably won't happen for 200-400 years though (if society lasts that long)

Never.Science has a lot to answer for.Until then I'm gonna keep believing in Christ. Science has proof but it relies on an idea and that idea relies on the proof.Yeah, confusing but that's the truth.Until that cycles solved then religion will live on.
