I went to an all-guys high school so I didn't have much of an opportunity to meet girls. I've been in college for a semester and I haven't really met any girls since I don't drink so I haven't been out to the bars, parties, etc. I've joined a couple clubs but they really don't present the opportunity to meet peope. I'm going to be in Army ROTC so will girls like it when i'm wearing my uniform. Also, i've decided to make a New Year's resolution to be more outgoing and to talk to people like making conversations with people in my classes. I'm a nice guy and I respect girls so I can improve the shy thing will girls want to date me. What will they think about the military thing?

I don't think it's weird at all. Some guys are like that in my school, just as long as you're not girlfriendless because you like to talk about purple elephants (I am not making this up haha) or something like that. And the military thing is sexy ;]

dont listen to her, its not weird at all. if you havent found a girl that you arent totally into yet, then so be it. I myself haven't had a boyfriend before, not that i havent had the opportunity. i'm not ugly, and im not a loser, but i'm just totally determined to wait for a guy that i know i can have a serious relationship with who wont hurt me.
so yes i believe that you totally have a chance to find someone. there are so many girls out there that would do anything to find a guy that would just respect her, trust me. you have as much of a chance if not more than any other guy. and about the military thing, its hard to say some girls are very proud of their military boyfriends and love that in a guy. but I, myself would prefer not to have a boyfriend in the military, it would be too much of a hassle for the relationship. but i wish the best of luck to you =]

well u went to a all guy school thats a bad start right there cuz almost all high school kids have their first g/f b/f in high school and second even if u don't drink just go out with friends to the bar and be like I'm DD or something and talk to girls be more friendly and all that and i think girls are turned on by uniforms cuz i play soccer so i have great legs and a soccer uniform and alot of high school girls dig the uniform thing.

If you are thinking about joining the military after college join the Marines. The boot camp is a confidence booster on steroids. You will be cool , calm , collected and intelligent. Not arrogant or cocky like the Army. The dress blues uniform is a major chick magnet. I had to stop wearing mine when I fly because it was getting ridulous to try to get through airports. By the way celebrities love U.S Marines.

Well, I dont think its weird, because you really cant help it, its not your fault that you havent had much experience with girls! Some girls might think your sexy in a uniform! Thats a good resolution, because thats one main need to get a girlfriend. I know a lot of women that love men in the military.

i do not think it is weird at all. No sir. And it is good u dont drink. DONT START! I like your resolution also. Outgoing is good! Just a simple Hi will do it maybe the person will say hi later if u pass them in the hall way. Military = good! dont stress it boy! Just whip up a conversation, pretend u have dont it millions of times before! And it really is not weird. So you just keep it up, your on th right path!

I think the most important thing is being more outgoing and striking conversations with people. Lots of women like guys in uniform too so I am sure that will help.

Aww, it's cute that you haven't had a girlfriend. And yeah, the military thing might help but personally guys in the military make me kinda depressed...but a guy in uniform is still adorable either way.

I dont think its weird. Im 17 and i've never had a gf. I am shy and im trying to open up more. I have been asked out about 10 times and have had many other girls flirt w/ me but i said no because either i didnt know them or i wasnt interested. just a few months ago i met a girl she was hitting on me pulling me closer and leaning against me and i was like this could possibly be my girl then on AIM she send a message to me that was meant to her friend and it pretty much said she didnt like me. I was kinda pissed off cause she even said she told me she liked me.

ignore anyone that says it's wierd b/c it's not. Some people start dating early and some start later. Just be yourself! Oh and most girls like a guy in uniform:)
