My husband is over there and he has a laptop and he says he cant get porn over there. is this true? Please answer ONLY if you know.

Are you allowed to have pornography? Not by regulation.
Can you get pornography? Yes, yes you can.
Many people bring over porn on external hard drives, and then just share it with everyone.
But if he gets caught with it by the wrong person he will be in very serious trouble.

There is a lot of porn over there (from other soldiers in the military). They are still able to access porn sites. It is against regulations to do this...but they all do it anyway. Sorry to say, but your husband is lying to you. Again, my husband was in Iraq 16 months, so I know.

Possession of pornography is a violation of CENTCOM general oder #1.
The way the customs guy explained it when I left, there's a lot of child pornography in Iraq, and they don't want to take the time to inspect everyone's porn. So, they just don't allow any.

yes that is correct. Since we are in muslims countries the internet and other forms of porn are being blocked. Also its a pain for them to just get a beer. So why are were over there again? I thought it was to give freedom and porn :)

LOL your husband is not telling the truth. Porn is all over the place. I know my husband has some...he took it with him. They have it, but getting caught with it, as you know, means big trouble. But that doesnt stop them.

if he is using a personal computer then he does have access.
if he has to use a public access/gov computer it probably has restrictions.
