Yes, Jesus was Jewish. He was born to Jewish parents, he was raised as a Jewish boy, and he was a practising Jew as an adult. Jesus was a practising Jew right up until he died.
EDIT
- just to correct some previous answers from non Jews who while well meaning, don't understand Judaism :)
1) Jesus was never 'king of the jews'. This was a title that the Romans mockingly gave him but you will never hear a single Jew refer to Jesus in this way.
2) Nobody is a 'jew by race' for the simple reason that Judaism is not a race.

IF he ever existed, he was a traitor Jew, but Yes, he was one.
Now, following the same story, Judah was a traitor of the traitor; Was he bad or good?
Following your idea, if JC was Jewish, then all the Christians are Jewish, but all the Jews are not Christian.
That is why, if the Muslims take over and kill all the Jews, (which cannot happen because they are the chosen people), they would also includes all the Christians in their "Charia".
So better to put our differences aside and stay united to survive...

The goodness of real Jewishness is everlasting.
While living in Jerusalem I saw a consistent deep good rich goodness in real devout reverent Jews. I asked God What is this? He answered and said, Their goodness is me.
Jesus was and is the King of Jewish Israel according to Gabriel when speaking to Mary about conceiving Jesus in the power of God causing it without a man.

Jesus christ is not the name of a person. Christ is not a last name. Therefore, as such a person did not exist, it is not possible that he was a jew.

Jesus (Yeshua in Aramaic) was born Jewish and was part of the jewish religion. He taught reform... his tradition didn't become a new religion until much later.
BTW... Christ is not his last name! It means annointed one and is the same as Messiah in Hebrew. It is a title.

Jesus Christ was born descending from abraham, mary was the lineage of david.
He was Judaism, but the jews rejected Him. His life is the pattern for all of us. He is heaven's answer to a world gone astray. God's manual of a man to mankind... Immanuel.

It is sad how many Christians know so little about the history of their own faith. Jesus was a Jew, in fact, he was a Rabbi.
