Sometimes, the cheapest HDTV isn't always the best route, try to make sure that you buy from a good brand-name as well.

This Christmas I just purchased a 23" Samsung LN-T2342H HD-TV and it was $499 dollars plus shipping brand new , I've seen this T.V. in stores for over $650 dollars. I highly recommend this T.V. if you don't want to spend a lot on a HDTV.

But I did find the price on a Samsung LNT1953H 19" LCD HDTV and it was $359.00 on Amazon.com. It has the built-in tuner, Picture-in-Picture and it has a lot more other features.

There are cheaper HDTV's out there, but they most likely wont have the same features and quality of a more expensive T.V. in the same size.

Samsung is the official Television brand for the NFL right now, so that says a lot and you know that you're getting a good brand, but of course, there are other great T.V. brands out there like Vizio, Sharp, Toshiba, LG, Sony and more.

But in terms of the cheapest HDTV, I found one 15" HDTV that was $233.00, and that's the cheapest one that I found.

But I think that you should purchase the PS3 first as long as you have a decent T.V. right now that can use component cables. I bought my PS3 last year and I'm just getting an HDTV 1 year later, but I used component cables with my CRT T.V. and I still got very good graphics.
