I´m currently in Cabo san lucas and purchased a lot of liquor while I was here. I am traveling back to the states tommorrow, and I know I can´t bring any of it carry on, but is it okayif I wrap it up and put it in my checked baggage? Or is that not okay with customs. PLEASE HELP

Yes, as long as its within the allowed amount which is usually like 1 or 2 liters. If you have more, they'll charge u some $$ (if they notice it).

If you purchase alcohol at the airport Duty-Free (inside security) you MAY carry it onboard. You just cant bring it from outside and go through TSA security with it if it is larger than a 3 oz (mini) bottle.
You may NOT open and drink it on the flight .
You can also put it in your checked bags. I suggest wrapping each bottle in a sock or towel to cushion it.

Yes, you can place alcohol in your checked luggage. Wrap it in bubble wrap very thoroughly, as it could easily get broken.
Check with customs though, as there is a limit. If you bought more than a couple bottles, ship it to yourself.

don't put liquor in a bag...it can break and cause a fire...have it shipped or ship it to yourself, before you leave.
