i dont know what to do, is there something i can do legally or can i call someone im lost.
Shes off the wall.
I went to see my dad a while ago and they had an argument. She drove 35 min to the movie theater wasted and made huge scene. He said he was affraid to divorce her because shed take everything from him.
We had a death in the family the other day and my dad was coming down. He called and said he wasnt, they must of had a fight. Then he left her because she had a fit. She called my whole family even the mother of the my dead cousin. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER. She keeps calling me and my house where im staying at my moms. She wont stop, im worried for my dad. I don't think shes made any threats, is there anything i can do? this needs to end, my dad cant go back to her shes literally insane. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Document everything. If your dad doesn't want her to take him to the cleaners get a tape recorder and let her know that she is being taped when you answer the phone. Let her know or else it is not admissible. This might help to get her to stop calling or if she really is crazy then you will have a hell of a taped conversation.

If she is driving drunk, call the cops! She should be arrested before she kills someone. But your dad sounds as if he is being abused, and the whole family is being abused, by her. He needs to get free, this is no way to live. If she keeps calling, turn the phone off or unplug it - but if it keeps up your family may need to charge her with harassment and get an order of protection barring her from contacting you all. Unfortunately I am not sure that you should be intervening for your dad, other than to support him in getting free of her. He needs a good attorney!

Do what the other people have said, and maybe call the police if she does something really bad. If she was wasted, they might be able to search your house and if they find drugs, she'd probably be arrested. Then if your dad gets a divorce, she probably wouldn't be able to take everything.

it sounds like your step mother has some sort of emotional problems, mental illness or is suffering from alcoholism. it's a shame, and you can't change it, but i know it is causing you issues.
your father needs to take the bull by the horns and insist she gets help... otherwise he is going to live a roller coaster lifestyle from this point forward...
hon, your parents' personal issues aren't a good thing to get involved with... adults need to take responsibility and change their own lives.
it's worry enough for you without having to give your father "advice"... he's a big kid now and i think he needs to find out what he can do for change...
take care of YOU for now. that is the best thing you can do

yeaaah.......your Dad needs to step up and make some better decisions. The minute my partner began negatively affecting my FAMILY.....I'd say GOODBYE in an instant! When that psycho of a woman is not around, have a serious talk w/ your pappa!

Well..this is called criminal harrassment in most places and an adult can get a restraining order and she could be charged for doing it..though..that may make her even more nuts..other than that..get an unlisted phone number.

You need to call the police about the situation. If she's drunk and driving and harassing you, you need to call the police. If she's just drunk a night in the tank will sober her up, and if not call your local hospital and tell them about the situation and see if you can't convince her to go and admit herself. If she doesn't and starts acting crazy and violent, call 911 again.

Take out a restraining order so she can't see you or contact you. Tell your father to talk to a Dr. about having her committed to an institution. He also needs to talk to a lawyer about getting a divorce. The lawyer will tell him how to protect his property from her.

Your dad needs to grow up and just divorce her. She can't take anything of his. If she does you can call the police!

hmm, well i dont think there is anything to do btuletur dad and her figure it out, i thnik if she keeps calling and stuff u can like mayeb report her for harassing but im not sure
