There are three big concerns after a tooth extraction. Prolonged bleeding, pain and Dry Socket. Since it seems your bleeding and pain have been alright, that leaves Dry Socket. Dry socket is an inflammation of the jawbone, caused when a blood clot does not properly form in the extraction site. Dry socket will occur 3-4 days after an extraction. If you are already beyond this time period and are feeling fine, then you really have nothing to worry about. 1-2 months and the gums should close over the extraction socket and that should be the end of it.
Enjoy your beer and have a very Happy New Year!

If your dentist put you on an antibiotic, drinking would not be a very good idea, it decreases the effect of the antibiotic. Speaking from experience I have drank the same day I had my wisdom teeth taken out, but I only had 2 taken out. I waited about 6 hours before having my first beer. and I also smoked. I was fine and had no problems, Im not a dentist so if your really concerned call your dentist and ask him/her. besides isn't alcohol a good source of sterilization!! Happy New Year!!

If you are healthy, are no longer on medication, and feel up to it, I'm sure a FEW would be fine. Happy New Year!!!
