Be consistent. Is she is rude or disrespectful, give her a consequence. don't just threaten with one. If you say, "If you don't knock it off now I won't share my game with you" then follow through. If you give in to her whining, she will only be encouraged to be even nastier with more whining the next time.
Expect to listen to a lot of whining, but, if you are consistent, she will learn that there are consequences to her actions and think twice before bratting out.

sometimes they'll grow out of it, usually not so...get some blackmail if possible, somehow do something to make her look up to you ( dont ask how..this is off the top of my head >.<) or make friends with her friends. then she'll get pissed, then beg for them back or cry, then you give them back and say that she owes you with that T.V. =D

take away all of her priviledges she might hate you but once she gets better you can give some back to her

lol i just answered the question about the tv thing. lol my sis is 8 too... but anyway tell your parents or make a BIG deal about her gettting wut she wants.. thats wut i did...and it worked in a month if you keep doing it
