You can regulate the wattage by using the different power levels available on microwaves......some have 10 power settings, some have a low, medium, high and some have a "reheat" cycle.....depends on the age of the microwave, it's features, the manufacturer and so forth......You might want to go to the manufacturer's website and search for your model and I'm sure it will explain how to use the different power levels correctly.......

Watts is a measure of energy. Degrees centigrade is a measure of temperature.

If it calls for a temperature, cook it in the oven, not in the microwave.
