It obviously bugs you or you wouldn't be asking a question about it on Yahoo Answers.
You've only been going out for 2 months, and I'm guessing you're young. Maybe he's just not feeling like calling you that anymore.

it was probably something he was not used to - i mean calling someone babe or baby. most likely, he went back to his original habit of not calling someone that. or he just hasn't realized he stopped calling you that.
there's another chance that something has happened, like the death of a family member.
just go up to him and ask him, "Why'd you stop calling me babe or baby? It's just something i've noticed you stopped doing. It's not bugging me, i'm just a little curious."
also, don't try to force an answer out of him. you could make your relationship take a turn for the worst over something small. if he doesn't answer the first time, leave it alone. besides, if he realizes that he stopped calling you babe/baby, maybe he'll start calling you that again.

I stopped calling my girlfriend babe. We met when we were younger and it was "cute" to call each other babe at that time but now we've been together for a while and I feel like we should move on past the baby names. Maybe he's thinking the same thing. I would worry more if he stopped being "cute" with you than if he stopped calling you babe.

uhm...does he call you something else? Because that is the first nicknames partners give each other until they've been together for a long time and then other names start to pop up that only you two have for each other and understand. that is how my guy and i are. He still calls me babe but he also calls me, "toots, honey, sweets, love, cupcake, sweetpea" and some other names. lol...I have NEVER called him baby or babe. just once or twice but I just call him other things and it doesnt bother him. Maybe you should ask him...=D Hope i helped. God bless and Happy New year.

RE:
My boyfriend stopped calling me baby/babe?
We've been going out for about 2 months & he used to always call me babe/baby & has suddenly stopped. Has anyone had this happen to them or has anyone done it and has a reason for it? It doesn't bug me that much it's just something I've noticed.

Trust me, he has something about it why he stopped. My boyfriend at one point stopped calling me baby and when I noticed it and asked him he said...I stopped for a long time and you just noticed now and then he started discussing the problem and we were able to solve it and he's back in calling me baby again..

Well do you have a pet name for you. If not maybe he doesnt call you babe because you dont have one for him. But for the most part i dont think that it'll be wrong to ask him why he hasnt called you "babe" anymore.

Best bet: answer him, or try calling him baby/babe and see what response you get. He may have a new nickname for you, he may have a reason, or he may not realize he changed.

maybe he figured it would be more respectful to not use those terms. A lot of girls don't actually like it...you could always ask him. Ask him in a flirty way...like "hey, why don't you call me babe anymore...I like it when you do that!"

Don't dismiss. I could be a sign. Be ready for anything, I'm not saying he's going to break up, maybe he just didn't want to. Just be aware, and talk, and ask, just nicely and calmly, keep the conversation calm. Just don't be upset yet. It could be nothing.
