I don't know about Documentaries, however, I can furnish you with information on two great books dealing with information concerning North Korea.

They're worth the time reading -

1) "Under the Loving Care of the Fatherly Leader"
written by Bradley K. Martin

2) "Rogue Regime"
written by Jasper Becker

These two well-written books give an insight about the North Korean Government and their propaganda machine. Almost anything not directly related to either “President for Eternity” Kim, Il-Sung, or “Great Leader” Kim, Jong-Il is forbidden.

There is a movie that I really like about the Mass Games called A State of Mind. And there is one more called North Korea: A Day in the Life.

The link has a list of them.

Here are a few video clips
(not all of them work, like the first couple but most do)

Also check out www.cnn.com pages on North Korea. It includes all the latest news and videos.

Edit - There is someone going through the entire Korea section giving thumbs down to absolutely everyone.

Watch "State of Mind" as Boom Blatz suggested. It really gives a good perspective on North Koreans...and the athletics are incredible.

The most recent decent ones are from the BBC. If you can understand Korean, check the worldcat catalogue.
