I have AMOX for 10 days.... for an abcess tooth infection. The infection keeps returning. I started with PEN, then AMOX and I have AMOX again. I may need something stronger? While on antibiotics I am fine and 3 days after finishing, I am in semi-severe pain again.

I'd go by what the doctor or dentist recommends.

some antibiotics are in basic terms mandatory in one dose others for some weeks reckoning on the style and rigidity of the micro organism despite the fact that that's necessary that the completed dosage is taking as recommended as a results of fact failing to take action might reason the an infection to alter into proof against antibiotics that's extremely undesirable...

It depends on the antibiotic prescribed and the bacteria you have. Antibiotics work by destroying the cell wall of the bacteria so that it falls apart. It weakens it over days. For different strains of bacteria this time period varies, that is why some antibiotics for some things are taken for 5 to 7 days and others for 10 to 14. I have a bacteria in my hand right now and have to be on antibiotics for 6 months to kill it ( they had to amputate one of my fingers). So you see it depends on how strong the bacterial wall is that the antibiotic is fighting to break down.

Depends on the antibiotic. You should take all the medication that is prescribed, even if your infection gets better before you run out.

until you run out. They will only prescribe you the right amount of antibiotic. You must always finish it or the infection could come back.
