No it's NOT BAD!
If after 4-6 months you stop progressing it means that you need to mix it up!

Depends on the workouts. If you're doing 4 2-hour full body workouts, you'll burn out, and not give your body time to recover.
On the other end of the spectrum, if you jog 30 minutes 4 times a week, no problem.

It's just that if you're working the same muscle group so much it's going to go from being worked to being strained and lactic, doing more harm than benefit. Also, muscle rips and heals back more sometimes to get more muscle mass in a group but you still need time to let a rip heal or you're just breaking down muscle you would've made and muscle is what burns calories. It's good to switch muscle groups. Two, maybe three max times a week for the same muscle group of a hard work out is plenty.

Not necessarilly... I swam 5-6 times per week every week for one hour for 3 years.
I've never been in better shape. However, I made the mistake of using large fins and physically wore out my knees over a period of just 2 weeks.
It's probably a bad idea to do impact sport or very heavy loads, however, low stress aerobics, such as swimming is typically no problem. Don't overload your joints and either vary the exercise or use low impact activities.

If you mean the same workout, like doing situps 4 times a week. Its not bad for you, its actually really good for you. But you should try to do other workouts too. I do gymnastics 4 times a week. I think its too much sometimes but its not really for me. The only person that can tell you if its too much is yourself. Only you can feel if its too much.
Hope that helped.

if the workout is varied and a combination of different excercises that target different areas of the body, like 10 minutes of cardio, 10 minutes of strength training, 10 minutes of stretching, etc., then it's fine to do the same workout over the course of one month.
however, if by "workout" you mean jogging for 30 minutes, then it's true that you will get tired of the same type of excercise and it will become less effective over time. (unless maybe if you kept increasing the time you walked or jogged in increments).
but, yeah, it's best if you spice it up a lil bit with different types of excercises.

It's not bad in the sense your thinking. the body is such an amazing machine it will adapt quickly to the same routine, so switching it forces the body to try to adapt again....Tear it down in the gym, it will grow on your rest days.
If three sets of 10 of anything is all one did and you couldn't feel it the body has adapted and needs a change to be challenged.
the body loves to be pushed....give it something different to do and it will respond.

Having to do with freeweight weightlifting. It isn't the best idea to work out the same core area, ie: legs, arms, core. 2 days in a row. However it can be done. Your muscles need a break. When you workout, your muscles deteriorate. The day of rest gives the muscles a good chance to grow stronger, that's how you gain muscle. Running, however, is good to do as much as possible.

For 1 month you are okay, but why not switch up a bit. Do some of your routine some days and the rest the other days and walk about an hour every other day.

No, its not bad at all!
Usually you hear people saying to mix it up once every week, but thats because people just might get bored of the same routine over and over again. But if you enjoy the workout, then keep doing it. :)
