I will not take the mark of the beast.
I think the time is sooner than we think.
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

we don't even know what the mark of the beast is yet! some say it's a bar code some say it's what you do with your head and hands...
and what does it mean by mark...
some say if you are pot smoker you are marked as a druggie.. or if you work in politics you are marked as a greedy cheat. or if you get paid once to have sex you are then marked as a prostitute!
Could it mean being something like a druggie or a prostitute or a politicion?
first we have to work out what revelations was all about, some say john (the auther of rev.) was refering to things that have been and gone... and if you beleive in it there is no hope for any future christians as only 144,000 are aloud into the kingdom of heaven ! so we have no idea! many philosiphers and schollors have taken to try and find the answers but no one knows... when you find out let us know....

Well, I really believe that the church will be raptured first, but on the outside chance that I've misinterpreted that part of scripture... I would not take the mark and so I would end up without a head.

Why would I care about "Caesar Nero"? That is who the beast was that Revelations referred to. In Hebrew, his name is 666, and John, not the Apostle, had a vendetta against Rome, that is why he wrote Revelations.

I don't think I will be here for that. I plan to be taken out by Jesus during the rapture of the church before that.
But, if I had to face that situation, I would refuse the mark, even if it meant my death, because those with the mark can never go to heaven.

I would ask how much it pays. I am afraif to write this in question form, since I was reported once for using a rhetoric question here.
Simple: you ight get reported by the YH thought police if you end your answer with a question mark. The rule you have violated then is : Question, not answer.

I won't be here. I will be taken in the rapture.
But, in the cases of people who don't make the rapture, refuse the mark. Die first. Or you will be his.
Not trying to be scary, it is in the Bible.

I'll die first because I already have enough problems dealing with the beast in me now, I'm not about to worship the deceiver on purpose.

Since the holy spirit would no longer be living here I would not have any power against Satan, so I would have my head chopped off instead. Thank God I will not be here to have to do that I am taking my head with me how about you?

All Numbers in the Scriptures have a meaning.
7 Means Perfect, Complete
6 Means Imperfect.
The number 666 is to illustrated complete imperfection.
This number 666 is not a literal number but a figurative number and not something that will be affixed to the human.
This number is used to illustrate the imperfection of the Beast.
By aligning ones self with the Beast, the world or system of things, in rebellion to God's Kingdom is when one takes on the mark of the beast.
Understanding the difference of what is literal and what is figurative requires some study of the complete Scriptures both the Hebrew and Greek (some call these sections the Old and New Testament).
