Intense ab workout, especially the lower abs is done by hanging leg raises. Usually done with large straps that you're able to put under your bicep. Lift legs, close together, slowly up, but only an inch or so above waist line, any further and the hip felxiors are used. Do at least three set of 15 each, then hang again and twist your body to the left, repeat same movement, then right side......these are intense and you'll be hurting after wards. next day do crunches on a Swiss ball for back support. Hold a weight or heavy ball in your hands as you crunch forward.....do all these movements slowly....slow is good. You six pack will show with the proper diet, but this will do for starters,.

Situps are fine. I would suggest you go to the fitness center and see what they have for intense lower abs workouts. you might even inquire on the internet,

if you can, find a partner. lay on your back and have them stand over you with your hands around their ankles. raise your legs up to them, keeping your feet together. have them try to push your feet to the ground. you are to keep your legs straight and never let your heels hit the ground. make sure to stay in control and take it slow. have them push your feet straight in front of them, and from side to side for obliques
