I think God's ways are perfect. If a person were to follow His counsel, they would have a wonderful life. Did I always? No. Do I always follow them now? No. But it is wise to remember that God gives us guidelines for a reason, to protect us from harm and enable us to live life fully. In my own experience, His ways are much higher than my ways. Purity is a beautiful thing.

I am twenty years old, and I am still a virgin. It isn't because I am saving myself for marriage (though to be honest, the older I've gotten, the more I am leaning towards that), but because I have not shared a deep, compassionate love with someone yet. If I am going to share my body with another human being, if they get the privilege basically to have something no one else has had and no one ever will have (meaning my virginity) then they have to be pretty damn special. I think multiple partners just for the fun of it is disgusting though. What will you give your wife or husband or life-partner if the whole town has already had it? Being with someone that intimately, making love, whatever you want to call it ... should mean something more than what most people reduce it to.

Any ring must be used as a purity ring, as long as you have self concept and make that promise on your ring and you recognize the symbolic meaning. I rather have a purity ring from Tiffany & Co it rather is technically now no longer a purity ring.

It's a way for men to exert control over women's sexuality. It's a remnant from when women were property of men transfered from fathers to husbands.
Own your own sexuality - if you don't have sex until marriage, do it because that's what you want, not what a patriarchal system that infantilizes women and removes sexual choice by way of arbitrary "purity" rules.
Truthfully, most men don't wait, regardless of what they say. Be an adult; decide for yourself.

well, they "sported" in the bible...you know.."horsed around.." but, it wasn't anything "seriously having to do with sex" but..they touched, held hands, chased each other, ran around, tumbled, got close, talked, very emotional, happy, in love, ate together, walked, worked together, did things, very involved...communicated alot..and committed to each other and made plans for their future because they "Knew!" but "sex?" that was the "sacred part" for the marriage bed chamber...decorated all up nice...aromas..looked real good!...it was then when they were together at last that they made the "final dedication to each other" body, soul and spirit...and it was well worth the waiting! and, God is very loving and forgiving..he knows you probably didn't know this to this extent...so, make it "special for "you and your partner for life, by making a quality decision according to the information. Besides it being a sin, you really kinda mess it up for the "marriage bed chamber.." and, you don't really want to do that now do you? "Peace!" (Do it up Right!) :)

What hope is there if we make a mistake and can never change it or be forgiven? God forgives and forgets, He knows our hearts, and we can Trust He knows more than our human society.

The problem with 'purity' is that if it is combined with ignorance as it usually is, it is a recipe for disaster.

Sex is God's wedding gift. Think on this: everyone that has sex outside of marriage is joining their soul to all those they've slept with.....

I am saving myself for marriage!
I think that there is no better gift that you can give your future spouse than to say to them that you have saved yourself for them.
