Okay so, my brother's friend's sister's boyfriend (whoah...haha) is going to South Korea to teach english. But how did he get a job like that?! He doesn't even speak korean. Would countries really hire native english speakers to teach? If so, how do you "apply"?

=)

thanks

In some countries, they get Americans to come to the classroom to act as a teaching assistant, basically all you would be doing is pronouncing things properly for the students. Many foreign English speakers cannot pronounce our words properly (specifically in Asia countries where they don't have the r sound in their language.)
