Go to hotjobs or monster, and type in keyword "project management" and your zip code, and you will get a list of all the available jobs that are seeking such skills - scroll through the list and you will get a good idea of what companies and industries are hiring.

There is also a project management certificate. Some of the bigger industries for project management are non-profit, tech companies, and consulting firms (accounting, tech, science, etc). Searching on your local newspapers or monster.com should give you a better idea. Good luck!
