I as a Christian woman am furious that the Spears family even consider themselves as the model Christian family!

I agree with you. I also think they (or should I say the Mom) sold not only her daughters souls, but herself as well to the Devil the very first time she even had an inclination for them to become famous celebrities.
Hollywood and Christianity do NOT mix. To pretend otherwise, is ridiculous on their part.
You can't have it both ways. Jesus was no part of the "world" and he expected his followers to be the same.
The only way I would have one shred of hope for any of those Spears` skanks would be if, instead of doing a million dollar interview in the magazines, is if they openly acknowledged that they sinned against God and that they set a horrible example for any young, aspiring Christian women out there that may have mistakenly looked up to them.

Sure, why not. Christian families produce out of wedlock children, gay children, murderers, single parent families, divorced parents, etc just as often as non-christian families.
Why does the word Christian in front of the word family automatically mean a moral life style? Facts seem to prove otherwise in some cases.

There are sooo many "good christians" out there. Some really truely represent god in the best way. But others say that to impress, and those people are the liars and haters and those who dont follow the rules. I understand your anger, but you mite just have to get over the fact that not everyone is trueful in what they call to be their religion.

It depends on what the Xian community chooses to define as Xian. If it accepts a family where one daughter dances nearly naked on stage, gets married randomly and divorces the next day, makes commercials condoning one night stands and where the other daughter is pregnant at 16, then sure.
But I'm sure that's not the image they want to put forth--so yeah, I think that lady is nuts.

Not At all. I don't remember any where in the bible where it talks about being a bad mother to your children, and getting pregnant at 16. I think Lynn Spears is a little to into herself. Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am not christian but i find that surprising, because the 10 comammadments say "thou shall not fornicate". and britney's sister did, and so did britney. and i think that some christians look down on divorce and britney did that too, so i don't see the greatness
