My boss told me she believes in guardian angels. If guardian angels actually existed and actually went around protecting people, then where are these angels when innocent people get hurt? So if this is part of "God's plan," then what would be the point/how could guardian angels exist?

Guardian angels are one of those hypotheses that work, except when they don't. "Wow, you walked away from that car crash without a scratch; your guardian angel must be looking out for you!"
And then there are, of course, the people who die in car crashes. All the time. Well, it was just "their time", people say. But nobody BLAMES the guardian angels then. They praise them when people are protected from harm, but not blamed when things go wrong. Sort of an odd double-standard, isn't it?
I mean, honestly...this guy's guardian angel saved, him, but THIS guy's guardian angel didn't save HIM? God must like the first person better; he was saved! He must be a good and righteous person!
People who think like this scare me...

Only very rich people can afford guardian angels. They are really really really expensive (and the price is only likely to go up.) "Innocent" people aren't necessarily innocent, they're just not wealthy enough to afford such protection.

we have to look at both sides, there are bad angels and good angels. The devil is out there to get us, and what he desires the most is to destroy us. God always wants to protect us but there is not much he can do if we are far from him spiritually, he doesnt force us to be under his protection, its our choice if we want to be protected and our choice if we want to be on our own. the bible says God will protect us as long as we want him to. People always want God to take care of them and as long as they are fine they praise God but when something bad happens God is blamed, they have to consider that if something bad happens to them its because they have been bad and there are consequences(this is where the devil does his job)
as for babies or little children, the ones responsible for them are their parents, because they are innocent and jesus himself say that heaven belongs to them and whoever does anything bad to them will suffer the consequences since their guardian angels(the childrens) give report to God directly. but when they grow old enough to understand right and wrong they have to make their choice too.

Angels are messengers, but there are Bible examples of some being protected.
As in the case of the three hebrews thrown into the fiery furnace.
Four figures were seen in the flames.
(DANIEL 3:24-25) At that time Neb·u·chad·nez′zar the king himself became frightened and he rose up in a hurry. He was answering and saying to his high royal officials: “Was it not three able-bodied men that we threw bound into the midst of the fire?” They were answering and saying to the king: “Yes, O king.” 25 He was answering and saying: “Look! I am beholding four able-bodied men walking about free in the midst of the fire, and there is no hurt to them, and the appearance of the fourth one is resembling a son of the gods.”
We are saved ONLY if it fits with God's plans.

they are around you not all the people deserved to have them only the chosen ones. I was drowned and I was saved by the light I almost crash in car accident I heard a sound told me to stop in the middle of green light and I was saved and so many incidents that I had encounter that's why I'm angel baby.

I believe it has to do with who has been prayed over and who has not. Who has been prayed over with faith and power. Who has been blessed with a praying mother, grandmother or even a praying friend. Who can pray themselves.This can save you from many tragedies. you don't even know how bad things could have been if were not for the prayers of a faith praying person. There are things that interfere with the effectiveness of prayer,one of them is unforgiveness,another is lack of faith,there are other things that block the outcome from being what you wanted. Sometimes the person wanted to go and you prayed but God let them have thier way to save them from more suffering. I don't have all the answers but I believe in the power of prayer. I think that it is never God's perfect will for someone to die young or for someone to be hurt. If God's will were always carried out then everyone would be saved and know his love and know his comfort and be blessed but there is a curse in the earth and there are demons in the earth and we have to battle them,for they want to steal our lives early and they are liars.We have choices. They want to destroy our lives. They want to steal kill and destroy what God loves. the weapons of our warfare are the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God,our feet shod with the gospel of peace,the breastplate of righteousness,the waist girded with truth. There are angels and they have to be called upon . there are demons and they have to be fought against with prayer and the word of God. The 91st psalm says that God will protect us and give us a long life. He will send his angels to protect us.
