It means if you don't show up, the automatically "win." When they win, they can levy your bank account and try to garnish your wages.

Sounds like the landlord is seeking an judgment against you for failure to pay and maybe even other cost such as court fees and attorney fees, and maybe even rent for the months left on the lease if any.
Unless you have a legal reason for failure to pay, the judge is going to rule in fair of the landlord.
If you fail to appear, default judgment kicks in and the judgment is automatic.
The judgment will appear on your credit report and affect your credit score--forget about buying anything on credit for a number of years.
I don't know what state you live in, but in some states the judgment can be used to attach your wages. If you live in one of these states, it sounds like it would be to your benefit to try and work a payment plan out with the landlord.
Even if you work out a payment agreement, make sure you go to court on the day indicated and take the agreement to court with you--otherwise the judgment will still be awarded because "by default" you did not appear.
I wish you the best.

It sounds like you're being evicted. If you don't show at the date and time appointed the landlord will get his eviction order by default and you'll be put out in the street in a couple of weeks.
