I pulled my credit report and noticed two items said they were to continue on record until December 2007. Does this mean after December 07 I can have them removed? Is there any chance they will be removed automatically?

They will be removed automatically but the quickest way to have them removed is to contact the credit reporting agencies yourself.

They should be removed atomaticly but if you want to take the extra step it cost less than $3.00 to do your self and is easy.

Dear Credit Bureau,

This letter is a formal complaint that you are reporting inaccurate credit information.

I am very distressed that you have included the below information in my credit profile due to its damaging effects on my good credit standing. As you are no doubt aware, credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only accurate credit information. No doubt the inclusion of this inaccurate information is a mistake on either your or the reporting creditor's part. Because of the mistakes on my credit report, I have been wrongfully denied credit recently for a , which was highly embarrassing and has negatively impacted my lifestyle.

optional With the proof I'm attaching to this letter, I'm sure you'll agree it needs to be removed ASAP.

The following information therefore needs to be verified and deleted from the report as soon as possible:

CREDITOR AGENCY, acct. 123-34567-ABC

Please delete the above information as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,

Call your credit company and ask them to explain it to you! They can tell you exactly what is going on and how they will remove it and if you need to do anything at all.

That is what the credit agencies are required to do. Sometimes they goof and need to be reminded, but not often.

It will only be removed if its inaccurate....once they find that it is inaccurate they have 30 days to remove it.

They also get 30 days to investigate it...after that, if they havent' found anything then they have to remove it.

Been there....done that.
