Jesus baptized in the Holy Spirit, John baptized in water. Baptism is a statement of belief. J. Vernon McGee said baptism meant "to be identified with." Are you identified with Jesus? Do you have the Holy Spirit? These are the things Jesus wanted.

IT VIOLATES THE SCRIPTURE ONLY IF ITS A BAPTISM OF WATER.water baptism is to be carried out as instructed by Jesus.in the name of the FATHER, SON and, HOLY GHOST.we see this being done when Phillip baptized the Eunuch in Acts 8:27-38

NOW IF YOUR WANTING TO BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, AND WITH FIRE, I RECOMMEND, JESUS!
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Act 2:38

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

I have heard about various groups and individuals -- 'designing' their own ritual of baptism.

I suppose they also may keep their 'own' salvation.

I for my part know only what I have been told by Christ and by his God.

The glorified Christ told us, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (KJV)

That is all I know -- and I wouldn't dare to do otherwise -- obedience is what the Love of God means.

The Bible says that unless you are baptized in His name you shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven so I guess not.

NO

There is NO OTHER NAME
whereby we MUST BE SAVED

and its in THE NAME of the FATHER(JESUS)
the SON(JESUS) and the Holy Ghost(JESUS)

For Jesus himself said " I come in my Fathers Name " what name was He to be called (JESUS) (emmanuel) (GOD WITH US)

and He even said he was God saying TEll Moses I AM hath sent thee.....in Exodus....then in John He says to the jews...""Before Abraham was I AM "

and confesses to be the Holy ghost saying...."I will send you the comforter...I WILL come to YOU ""

JESUS IS FATHER
JESUS is SON
JESUS is the HOLY GHOST

and HIS WORD proclaims HIM to BE !!!!!!

HE IS THE
LIVING WORD

HE CANNOT LIE

"Cause when HE COULD sware by NO greater HE SWORE to HIMSELF ""

and in Timothy it says this
"" For without controversy great is the mystery of godliness;GOD was manifest in the flesh , justified in the Spirit , seen of angels , preached unto the Gentiles , believed on in the world , recieved up into glory ""

That says it ALL

According to Jesus, one should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Proceed otherwise at your own risk.
