I think I have pink eye! One of my eyes is bright pink all over the white part, and is watery and sensitive to light. The other eye is fine. I've never had pink eye before so I don't know if it is for sure, but the big problem here is that I have to go to a huge fancy new years eve party tomorow night =/
If my condition is indeed pink eye, is there anything I can do to cure it or make it better at least or less noticable before tomorow night? =(

I dont think that is pink eye at all and if you havent yet seen a doctor then I highly suggest you do ASAP.

What it sounds like is irits. I, myself, was diagnosed with this at 19. It hit me quick, one day I was fine, the next my eye was sensitive to light and became inflamed. Within 3 or 4 days the pain was unbearable and I was in the ER. 6 months later the iritis showed up in the opposite eye.

The doctor treated the iritis with an eye drop and a shot of steroid in the eye. Its been 6 years and I do have occasional flare ups, but I just drop in a few eye drops and it usually goes away in a day or two. This will continue for the rest of my life.

The iritis did result in cataracts and I had the surgery to correct that at age 23.

Iritis is basically arthritis of the eye. Arthritis is inflammation of the joints as we all know. Iritis is inflammation of the iris.

Go get it checked please.

Sounds like your S.O.L not something that can be taken care of over night I have heard tea bags work here's the site with the instructions. Also pink eye is very contagious I would say stay home. Or I have seen these eye drops before but never tried it Similasan Pink Eye Relief eye drops. Hope you feel better.

Usually, pink eye isnt all over. Do you have a fluid coming out of your eye? Is it sticky? When you woke up this morning, was it "glued shut"? Has it been like this all day?

If you answered no to those questions, dont worry! It's not pink eye but maybe and allergic reaction to something. Wash your hands with soap and water and get a washcloth. Make it damp with lukewarm water, and lay down with it on your eye for atleast 15 minutes.

Good Luck

If you do have pinkeye (conjunctivitis), you'll need antibiotic eye drops to cure it. Even if you do treat it immediately, it will probably be noticeable tomorrow night. If you're really desperate, you could go to the ER and wait. If not, try to get in first thing and get the drops started. Good luck.

SEENING TODAY IS USUALLY A DAY AROUND HERE WHEN EVERYONE IS CLOSED FOR BOTH DAYS, I WOULD CHECK INTO ER.
I HAVE USED THE TEA REMEDY SUGGESTED, WHAT MOM USED WHEN I WAS YOUNG.MAKE SURE THAT THE TEA BAG IS COOL AND WARM OR YA GONNA BURN A LID.
USUALLY ABOUT 2-3 DAYS FOR REDNESS TO GO WAY. WEAR A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES. TO HIDE IT.
