No, that's why they call it fattening. You are what you eat! That's not a myth,it's real. Organic food has more life giving nutrients than non-organic. Do you drink milk? try this.. buy some organic pasteurized milk, and some regular pasteurized milk. Do a blind taste test..you'll be amazed! If you eat a fast food diet constantly, you'll develop serious health problems rapidly. A rat will die if all you feed it is "Wonder Bread",and American 'processed' cheese. I'm glad I was a hippie in my youth,I ate good food, and now I.m still kick'n it at 55!

Just because healthy foods stays in the digestive system longer doesn't mean anything in regards to whether you're heavier or thinner. Eating healthier foods definitely help out with feeling more energized and healthy altogether. Eating junk foods slow you down and make you feel sluggish and tired...which can lead to why someone might be heavier. It's about the person's activity in correlation to what they are eating (caloric intake, for instance).

What people refer to junk food is typically high in calories, but relieve hunger for a short time and thus people eat more.

its because of the calories in that food...the body absorbs those calories or sugar faster(which is why they leave faster) and junk tends to have more bad stuff in it...healthy food has good stuff in it and is complex so it stays in the body longer while the body absorbs the nutrients and u stay full longer.
