We got a dog about 1 year ago when she was almost 4 months old.On her papers it said she was a shih-tzu.Everyone says she isnt a shih-tzu.So what kind of dog is she?

I think she is most likely a mix, but she does look like a Tibetan Spaniel or Pekingese mix. If she is registered, she is clearly NOT purebred, so I would advise the AMerican Kennel CLub your thoughts. They will require that the breeders prove her lineage by DNA testing. If the breeders are knowingly passing off mixed breed dogs as purebred, they need to be dealth with. As a purchaser, you have the right to get what you pay for.

I agree with Karen C,I see Tibetan Spaniel or Pekingese.That's not to say she doesn't have some Shih Tzu in there,but I really don't see much.She's a cutie,though!

Looks like there is some Pekingese in there, the other half, I'm not too sure of.

Looks like she has some Pekingese in her. Everything but her snout has the facial features of the breed. Here's a Pekingnese for comparison:

She looks like she could be a tibetan spaniel or Cavalier King charles spaniel mix. Maybe even some Pekingese! She is adorable!

She actually looks like a Tibetan Spaniel or Tibetan Spaniel mix to me.

She looks like a Pomeranian but the ears look a dachshund's ear. She maybe be a shi-tzu but I havn't ever seen one like her.

looks like a pekingese mix to me. we had two girls and although yours doesn't have the pushed in snout of them, the rest of the body looks just like them, from fur to head shape to ears to body size, including the sassy look on her face in the last picture, lol.
