Only high demand enlisted career fields (special forces, air traffic controller, etc) get enlistment bonuses. You don't get any bonuses when going to the USAF academy, besides the obvious FREE bachelors degree from an Ivy League institution, and an opportunity to be an officer in the worlds greatest Air Force. Plus, AF Academy cadets get first shot for pilot slots.

First you have to qualify for the military academy's very tough to get in. They are the elite. High grade point average, high community serve, knows a someone in congress to noimates them. No bonus just a education that is top notch. You do not enlist.. You are sworn in as an officer big difference.

No. But your time at The USAF Academy counts as time served in the military. ROTC does not.
Any US military academy is a great deal and opportunity for anyone fortunate enough to gain admission.
