You should see another doctor. There should be no burning when you pee unless you have a problem.
It might be a slight irritation of some kind that shouldn't last long. Do the folllowing:
Drink more water each day and no caffeine
Wear cotton white panties
Use unscented TP.
Do not wash with soap or rubbing down there
If it doesn't clear up after a few days doing those things, then see another doc to be sure.
You can get a medicine over the counter called AZO Standard. It will dye your urine and it makes the burning go away. This should only be used if NO infection is present.
Sometimes they are helpful if irritation or burning are present, but shouldn't be taken over a long time.

It sounds like a urinary tract infection. It hurts. I have had one before. They have stuff in the pharmacy for it. I forget what it is called but it helps. Ask the pharmasist to help you and they will know what I am talking about. If you get the over the counter drug and it doesn't help go to a different doctor and get a second opionion. To prevent these from happening you should also drink lots of water and take a cranberry suppliment. it helps. good luck.

These symptoms could be due to a variety of factors, but your doctor should work with you to figure out what it is, rather than just saying what it's not. I would get a second opinion, which is typically paid for by insurance. You can also call your local medical center's nurse helpline, your insurance company's helpline and so on if you need immediate help. If you are in terrible pain, I would not put this off. You could possibly develop a more serious, life-threatening condition if this is neglected.

Get some cranberry juice. I personally don't like the taste of it but it will help. (if its something with your urinary tract.)
Then I'd go back to a different doctor for a second opinion.
I hope you feel better. =)

go and get a second opinion. It sounds like a bladder infection to me, and i get them all the time. Also they can lead to kidney infection, if left untreated. Also if you want to try to get rid of it yourself try drinking loads of water and cranberry juice, and try tylenol
good luck!

Sometimes it could be too early to tell in there is bacteria in your urine.
If it persists go to the doc again.
Try drinking cranberry juice. It's gotta be the pure cranberry juice not juice flavored with cranberry.
