All these answers had some good advice. Here are a few more. Don't say anything to your TI unless you give your reporting statement first. Sir, trainee (your last name) reports as ordered. It's good to have a basic knowledge of AF rank and pay grade (like Technical Sergent pay grade E6) memorized because they will quiz you while you wait in line for the chow hall. Also make sure your flight works together or it will be a long six weeks, and you will end up hating each other. The TI will yell at you even if you are doing your stuff right so don't take it personally, they yell at everyone. The main thing is just pay close attention to what you are told. They are trying to teach you to pay attention to detail so all the little things matter, no matter how small it seems. You will do fine, just follow instructions.

Do not wear or bring any USAF related stuff with you to bmt. To include tshirts and the backpack they give you. Never get a USAF tattoo, and if you do wait till youve been in for at least a year before you do. Never give the sir sandwich (Sir, yes Sir) to anyone. That is the Navy. In the USAF it is wrong. Make sure you know your reporting statement before you get there, and use it when you do get there.

EDIT:

Contrary to what the 17yo says below me, do not sleep on top of your blanket. It not only does not save time but will get your flight woken up at 230 in the morning when the TI's or Sups do a walk through. The rest of your flight will not be happy and will make their unhappiness known to you. We had some guys try this when I went through. Everyone starts off slow. By the end of BMT you will be able to get it all done fast without even having to think about it

This was all pretty good advice, but I just wanted to add, remember that this is just temporary. Your whole enlistment will not be like this. Don't get discouraged. This is a mindgame. You have to be able to react well under pressure there.

This is a fairly open question there is lots of tips for basic. I am 17 an was looking in to the AF. I suggest you look on military.about.com or somthing like that there is alot of great military info and a huge article that prepares you for bootcamp and what to expect. The best tip i can give you a little trick if you havent heared of it yet is sleep on top of the blankets in you bunk to save some time in the morning. Its AF basic training its not that bad as long as you listen to the TI's as best you can you will be fine.

If you don't know what facing movements are, ask your recruiter to show you...not difficult, its just a little thing that will help you out when you get there, and the one guy is right, no sir sandwiches. yes, sir and no sir is good. You will call a female TI, sir, she will threaten you with bodily harm and its not the end of the world. Everybody does that at least once. And for the love of Pete, do not sleep on top of your blanket....The TIs do walk throughs at 0dark30 and will ream out your entire flight, who will in turn express their disappointment to you. You will learn to slide into the bed without messing up the blankets so you only have tighten them in the a.m.
Knowing what I know now; I would take a book of stamps; maybe a phone card; ( I got to make 2 phone calls but other flights got to make more) and an open mind. The TIs aren't out to get you per se but there are lot of people who can't handle military life for various reasons. They are trying to separate those folks out early and build up the ones who should stay.

Make sure you shave before you go, including sideburns. Don't ask your TI any questions unless it's absolutely necessary.

No drinking before you get there, and don't stand out. Follow instructions but make sure you pay attention to what is said.

Take every school they offer, and don't be afraid to cross train to another M.O.S.
