Depends on the circumstances, but it kinda goes with the job.

Let's see, kill Hitler - save millions. Yeah, I guess I would... today. But at the time, at the actual time, I can't really say what I would've done.

The same type of reasoning for a "yes" vote to your question was probably used by others to kill Benazir Bhutto.

In the end, I suppose only history can judge our actions or lack thereof.

What if the good-of-the-many is the 'one' you kill?

yes... we are all capable of killing under the right conditions... even those that think they can't .... it is how we handle it after that determines if we can except it afterwords ...

the thing is the ones that know they would kill for the many or others will probably get it done sooner...saving even more people ...

Difficult Question. I would avoid it unless the stakes were very, very high, and I could find no selfish motivation in myself. I would try every other option first, and if I thought it was at all possible, even the slightest chance, I would try to save both. After all of that, then, if my options were up, I would try to trade places. Then, if that wouldn't work, I guess, if the stakes were high enough, I would.

Depends on who the one was I was supposed to kill and in what way their death would save many. I guess if someone was about to press the button to set off a nuke, then I would kill them.

Yes, sometimes a little evil is necessary for a greater good...I think I might have heard that in a movie once LOL

Maybe. Depends on who the one is and how certain I am of the propostion that killing him/her will truly aid the many.

There is always a way besides killing. But if it wasn't available to me yes I would kill.

I'd kill more than one: roach, fly, spider, scorpion, hornet, wasp, snake, flea, horsefly, tick, leech, louse, fox, skunk, weasel, possum, termite, etc...and any other bloodsucking pest, vermin, or animal infected with a contagious, life threating disease that threatened humanity's well-being!
