Please don't cut yourself again--aside from the scars and having to hide it from people, it can cause infections and hiding which you definitely don't want!
Go for a walk, or run, even if it's freezing out. Clear your head. Maybe write in a journal--on paper, livejournal.com, or elsewhere. Work out. Find a method to get the pain out without hurting yourself. Baking bread has worked for me in the past--it takes some work, gets rid of agression (beating the dough), and ends up with something you can share with friends and family.

Okay what the hell is your problem! No way, I am soo joking!!! I will answer your problem becasue my friend does this too. I help her by calling her to take her mind off of it. It's addicting, right? Just scream in a pillow, or pull your hair, or clean your room like me when I want to do my thing. I know you want to stop, and once you do it is one of the best things ever! I quit my "addiction" and I am so happy!!! I hope you can do the same and best of luck! By the way, don't try things for the first time that you might end up doing again, ok.

causing yourself pain is never an option. dont go into temptation. when you cut yourself it releaases endorphines which causes adrenaline to rush through your bloodstream. this is what makes it feel better. i have nnever done it but know a few who have. one of the most efective things to do is to scream. this also releases endorphines. it is very efective, if you think about it, the reason it helps is because normally you arn't supposed to yell as loud as you can for no rason. rebelious acts (within reason) are effective alternatives. find something else that give you a rush. but thats healthy. try running.

ive been in ur spot b4 and i no how it is. its called snapping, u take a rubber band and put it around ur wrist, whenever u wanna cut, just snap it until ur out of the entire habit then ease ur way out of that too.
