Can anyone help me resolve the "yellow face" issue I'm having when I take a picture close up? I have the camera programmed to "auto" and I assumed that the camera adjusted for close-ups...My kids' faces look strange! Thanks! Marina

This is most likely a white balance issue. Your camera attempts to choose an appropriate white balance setting, however, the feature is easily confused. This goes for any camera brand. Try setting the white balance manually. You may need to refer to your manual. Experiment with the various white balance settings and see which one corrects the problem. White balance settings will change depending on lighting. Bright sun, shade, cloudy days, incandescent lights, and fluorescent lights will give different and noticable color shift to your pictures. The white balance corrects this.
