Few women enjoy sexual intercourse much under the age of 20, for a whole range of reasons. I'm old enough to know that has been continuously true since the 1950s (although about the earlier years I figured this out by talking with my parents' generation ...)

So given the physical, emotional, and in some cases social risks, intercourse is best avoided until you're in college.

Oral sex? If you can wait until college, great. If you can't wait, however, 16ish is probably pretty OK.
