Ezekiel chapter 1. told us that heaven was transparentIn Mathew 7 Jesus describes heaven as a house with many rooms and that He will prepare one especially for each of His followers. In Revelations 3:12 John describes heaven. In 2 Peter 3:13 So magnificent will be heaven no one will remember the old earth.

John, in Revelation, gives a first-hand account of what he saw but has a hard time trying to describe it because it was like nothing he had ever seen. Paul (I'm not sure in which book) was given a glimpse of Heaven by Jesus to lift his spirits (he was very depressed at the time because everyone was always beating on him for preaching) and said that anything he could possible say to describe how wonderful it was would not do it justice.

Revelations Chapter 21 and 22 detail what most believe to be heaven. In most instances when the word Heaven is used in scripture it is in reference to the sky.

What Revelations describes is a new heaven and new earth. This will be the place of eternal life.

WHERE IS GOD'S THRONE?

Psalm 11:4 and Isaiah 66:1 - God's throne is in heaven.

Ezekiel 28:14-15 - Reference to a mountain.

Job 9:9 and Amos 5:8

* Arcturus = a very bright star near the big dipper.

* Pleiades = a grouping of 7 bright stars called the seven sisters. They are seen just west of Orion.

Job 38:31 - “Can thou bind the sweet influence of Pleiades or loose the bands of Orion?” At the time Job was written, only God knew that the stars of Pleiades and the stars of Orion all traveled together in a band through space.

Job 26:9 - "He holdeth back the face of his throne and spreadeth his cloud upon it." (Nebula is the Latin word for cloud.)

Revelation 4:3 - …there was a rainbow around the throne…

The nebula of Orion is the most beautiful of all the nebulae known to man. The basic colors of the nebula are blue, magenta, and white. It is visible to the eye. There is a very bright area in this nebula that looks like an exquisite cave surrounded by clouds. This nebula is approximately 1600 light years from earth or 9.6 billion million miles from us. This bright opening is approximately 16.74 trillion miles across and 51 trillion miles deep. Quoting from a science book, "deep inside is a mysterious object we can never quite see but which we can detect by radiation."

Even Pre-Dynasty Egyptians said that the Throne of God was Orion. Pre-dynasty Egyptians weren't even Judeo-Christian by definition, and yet they called it The Throne of God.

Sir Robert S. Ball states that the light from which Orion glows is not from reflected sunlight. No foreign source can be found for the radiance it gives. “In Starry Realms” page 127.

Orion is the most beautiful jewel in the sky and is a star nursery unlike any other.

· Deut. 4:24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire.

· God breathes and creates the angels and makes them a flame of fire. Heb 1:7

· In the Bible it says that a star is an angel. Job 38:7 …The morning stars sang together...

Is the Orion Nebula the celestial gateway to the Throne of God?

Revelation.
In the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, we find God’s final word on human history. And when we reach Revelation chapter 21, God unfolds for us the establishment of His eternal kingdom – heaven. Paradise. Eternity with Him.
Up until the very end of the Bible, we know almost nothing about what heaven will be like. In fact, the last three chapters of Revelation tell us more about heaven than all of the rest of scripture put together.
In these final chapters we are told there will be three heavens. The first heaven will include the atmosphere including the clouds and oxygen we breathe. The second heaven is outer space where all the planets, constellations, and galaxies exist. And beyond that, there is a third heaven.
Paul gives us a slight hint at how incredible this third heaven will be when he says in I Corinthians 2:9, “…but just as it is written, ‘Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.’"
In Revelation 21, John goes on to tell us that when we get to this new heaven, we will be living for eternity in:
A New Creation
A New City
A New Community
With A New Constitution
For Christians, living in this new heaven…in this new city…will be like nothing ever known before. In fact, Revelation 21:2 says: And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
The reference to the holy city as a bride, dressed up for a wedding celebration, symbolizes for us the intimacy we will have with God in heaven. And what this tells us is that heaven is first of all a relationship. And by using this illustration of a man and woman becoming husband and wife, God wants us to understand what our relationship with Him will be like in heaven. The most intimate relationship humans can share will only be a shadow of the intimacy we will have with God…for eternity!
This new city will be especially created for Christians, who will be the bride of Christ, as we are told in the New Testament.
All humanity began in a garden but will end in this new city, prepared like no other city that has ever been built. A city prepared for you and me who have put our trust in Jesus Christ.
What an amazing place heaven will be – prepared by our creator for His creation to live for all time!
Thank you for the opportunity to share this with you.
