i think its pretty..the reason im even looking at this one (besides the fact that our wedding colors ivory, black and red, is the fact that my mom bought my jewelry for the wedding without asking....then showed me after the fact...heres what the jewelry looks like

Hey girlie! My wedding colors are black and red too!!!
Anywho....the jewelry is very classy...very pretty!
I don't much care for the tiara..looks too high school / promish.
It's not what we think...it's YOUR wedding. You do what YOU want and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!!!
I would appreciate that fact that my mom was trying to help but I would be pissed too for her just going ahead and buying it.
I like the tiara you posted earlier.... :)

Hey mate!
Do YOU like the jewellery? It's so hard when someone you love and don't want to hurt goes ahead and does/buys something that you ordinarily wouldn't go for and you feel kinda obligated to use/have it to be nice.. Especially when you already have your heart set on something else! You poor girl! :o)
In my own opinion (which counts for nothing.. you know that!) I actually prefer the jewellery only, no tiara. But I'm a simple kinda fashion. I know you prefer a little more 'tiz' (sory, couldn't think of a better word..) So I can totally see you in the tiara too!
If you don't want to wear the jewellery could gentlytell your Mom that it doesn't quite 'set off' the tiara you have you heart set on? (Or maybe tell you YOU already bought?) Maybe she can wear the set herself? The MOB has to look special too!

it's kind of a bummer that your mom picked your jewelry for you, but at least she has good taste. i think it's beautiful. I do like the second tiara better, though. The first one is pretty, but looks a little more Prom Queen or Beauty Pageant, but the new one is more classic and better suiting for a Wedding. If you already have the first one, maybe you could loan it to your Maid of Honor or Flower girl...or your mom could wear it :p. Maybe she could wear the jewelry too, if you already have something else. It really is beautiful, though.

Personally, I don't like it. I think it's too promy and pageant-like. Not the type of tiara that a young, modern bride would want to wear. You want to be a princess for the day and not a little girl planning dress up.
It says right in the description that this is a prom tiara. Go with something more traditionally bridal. Plus, the red in the tiara might not photograph well.

Everyone is saying how they like the jewelry and not the tiara, but I like the tiara but not the jewelry..figures. If you like it go for it. Your mom shouldn't be mad at you if you don't like what she picked out. She should have asked you what you thought or what you wanted before buying anything. If she likes what she picked out so much then she can wear it.

The jewelry is lovely Hon...a tiara is a bit over the top, don't cha think?...looks too prom queenish.....Miss America beauty queen-ish.......look for veils that have a tiara like crown to the piece.....and remember with wedding jewelry, less is more.....

That's certainly a lot of jewels. I think the tiara is a bit much but if it's what you're going for then buy it. I also don't think it was a good idea that your mom bought you wedding jewelry without you. It's your wedding and when you see something that pops out and grabs your attention then it's for you. It sounds like you're unsure. Don't buy until you're certain it's exactly what you want.
So tell her you're sorry but this is your wedding and you want what you want. She had her wedding and now it's your turn. this isn't her wedding. Sometimes you have to put your foot down.

I like the jewelry that you mom bought...it looks very classy!
The tiara is a big NO to me, it looks too much like a prom fiasco.
ADD: The second tiara is a lot better! It's very elegant, you'll look beautiful :)

That tiara is stunning. I'm not sure I would have a colour in my tiara but, if you like it, go for it. It goes beautifully with the other jewellery.
