Hi i like recording music...and people say I have a good voice and I think its alright...but when I record it just sound really really dull! So what do I need to get as far as effects....right now I am using a E822s Senthisiser mic and going striegt through a yamaha mixer. I don't really want to spend more then $50 bucks if that possible and if not tell me the cheapest (good sounding) Thanks!!!

One thing about your voice - when you sing so that it sounds good to YOU, it usually means that others hear it as being nasal and kind of dull. Half of the trick when taking voice lessons is learning to sing OUT, so that the tones of your voice are projected to the audience or mike, and not trapped inside. At first this won't sound as good (to you), but a recording will show that it's actually superior. After a while, your ear is trained so that singing-out sounds good to you. Some voice lessons might be the ticket for you, but quite frankly there are so many professional singers out there that can't sing (Sammy Hagar, Bruce Springsteen, and Dylan come to mind), that I wouldn't worry too much about vocal technique. Have you listened to the latest stuff from AC DC? If that guy can make it, you should have no trouble.
