Don't be in such a hurry to label yourself. It is okay to be unsure, you know.

First of all looking for answers concerning where you will spend forever is commendable and I congratulate you. Here is what works for me and why. I got to an independent fundamental baptist church. These churchs study and learn the Bible in detail. You will know and know more about the Will of God, and what He has planned for you. The common belief that you cannot know God's plan for you, or whither or not you will go to Heaven, is all a big mistake. You can and should know exactly where you will spend forever. You should have assurance on where you will spend forever, if not what use is the church you attend. Start with the basics, learn what faith really is. Study every word of a verse you are not sure about. Faith is not what most people think it is. faith is the assurance of things yet to come. Hope this helps.

I am a Christian but sometime i feel unsure of my beliefs. I suggest you go on a soul search try to find the true meaning and purpose of your life. Don't just just into a religion. It is ok to be spiritual and not necessary religious. If you believe in God pray and ask him for a sign that can help you decide what religion is right for you. In my opinion you should choose one that you feel happy about and not insecure or unsure about. I wish you best of luck you'll be in my prayers.

look at how you live your life. your likes & dislikes. how you feel about nature, Earth, etc. if you find yourself supporting Mother Earth & all her creation in, on, & over her, Wicca might be a good idea. especially if you believe that it takes male & female for creation. we believe in the God & the Goddess & they are EQUALS. neither is above the other. if you only believe in A god, then any of the Judeo-christian religions would be good for you. if you believe in evolution, then there are paths for that belief also. just remember that there is NO 1 true path that fits everybody. we are all on a journey to the same destination, but following different ways to get there. Blessed Be on your journey to find your path.

The first thing that you need to determine is why you want to join a religion. What are your motives, what are your needs.

If you want to join a social organization where you can be entertained that is not a problem. There are plenty of those out there.

But if you want to know about the only true and living God then let me suggest that you find a good fundamental bible preaching soul winning church and surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ and begin to serve him. If you will do this I promise you that you will never regret it.

Hi Brian...First, "religion" was designed by man to explain God. Spirituality is the spirit of man interacting with God (or Goddess). Picking a religion is based on how you relate to the Divine; corporate worship in communion with others of like mind.

Spirituality, however, is how you relate on a personal level with the One you consider God (or Goddess).

So...do your homework. That's how I started. I was fortunate that my father allowed me the freedom to attend any church, synagogue or house of worship I wished. He went with me. Made appointments with the spiritual leaders of each. That made it possible for me to search my own heart and make an informed decision.

Search your heart. What do you truly, deep inside, believe as faith? Then look for that which meets your deep spiritual need.

Someone can't chose a religion for you. Spirituality is something you must chose for yourself. It's a journey of learning - a journey of finding The Divine within you. You shouldn't just take someone else's choice as your own unless it's a choice you feel deep within your most sacred self even if that choice is one that is void of any deity but yourself.

you will never find true peace until you find Christ.

Until you find him, you'll keep searching, and searching, and searching....

If your looking for "proof" check out the 360+ prophesies of Jesus from the Old Testament fufilled in the New Testament. The chances of all of these prophesies happening without divine intervention is 1 in the 10 to the 39th power... basically impossibe to happen by chance.

Please look this up!!

May you find the truth.

Don't try to stick yourself under some random religion, get to know about then, then be sensible. If not, you don't actually have to have a religion. I don't, and that doesn't mean I'm an atheist or I'm going to go to hell or something.

I took some time, looking into different options and finally settled on the one that I thought had the greatest potential to help mankind.

I am an Atheist.
