I didn't think the piano was out of tune, but I might listen again and hear one or two notes but I usually pick up on that.

Voice is possibly a diamond in the rough. On the whole, not bad. Don't hang on to your "R"s as in waterrrrrrr. Soften the "R"s. High notes are within your range but you haven't found your voice for that yet.

Usually, when someone is starting out they play the piano loud or hang on th sustaining pedal. If you hold the pedal down too much, it muddies the song, but you didn't do that.

High notes appear to be in your range but control will come with practice. The key may also have something to do with it. I doubt that you're at the point where you can transpose piano music on the spot to a higher or lower key. I hated that.

Oh, very pretty too.

Well, you want honest comments, so I will give it to you from my own personal opinion which doesn't mean much. You are a very pretty girl and you have a unique voice/accent, it is different from most other people. I don't think that the song you sang was maybe the best for you. You should try something with less high notes and a little more upbeat. You seemed a bit nervous as well. It is hard to really judge your piano abilities as it was mostly just a couple of notes played one after another, but I think if you keep working and practicing, you can definitely improve and I bet if you were singing along to music you really liked (Like on a CD), it would come across much more natural and sound much better. Try doing something like that and then asking again.

Like the person said above, the piano is good. As for your singing... Hands down you sing better than me. I don't know if you take singing lessons or not, but I recommend them. You aren't terrible by any means. I think that with a year of singing lessons, you should be pretty good. I don't believe you're going to get a contract and get on the Billboard top ten songs, but I think it's good to be able to just sing without being overly conscious about it.

I'm impressed that you were able to sing and play piano. I play piano, but I can't sing at the same time too! It's hard to think about the notes to play and the pitches to sing and the words to sing.

I think the piano playing is very, very good. I think you are on the right track with your singing, but your voice is too soft and you are sometimes off key. You need a good singing coach to teach you how to use your diaphragm so that you can really belt out those notes with confidence. I think your singing will be great once you have someone to help you work on it. If you are in your school's choir, ask your teacher if they can spend some time with you. if not, go talk to the school's choir teacher and have them recommend a singing coach. I can't wait to hear you again once you get even better!

I think your voice is enchanting and it will only get better with a little coaching!!

I think you did very well, playing the piano and singing at the same time can't be easy. I mean, you're not the BEST singer I've ever heard, but you've definitely got potential. Maybe some singing lessons to learn some tricks of the trade and you'll be off to a great start.

not bad but not good either the piano was wonderful but the singing had a few rough spots. watch when you let your voice drop and when it hits those high notes. also when you sang on long notes like waaaater it did not sound that great. keep working you have real potential and a good voice you just need to practice.

all i can be is very honest with this..............
first your piano playing is a c+ meaning that it is so mechanical, you need to feel it a bit better and let the music flow better, feel the song. act like you are personally involved.
the singing isn't bad but it ties in with you really not having the feeling of it.... it sounds almost you are being held at gun point to sing it. i think with proper voice training you could be very good, if not exceptional. by the way i listened/watched
the video 8 times.

I'm a musician too - I know what nasty criticism is like, so I'll be nice :).

You've got a nice tone of voice and the piano is good. You look very nervous, though. You're not letting go, losing yourself in the music...that's what it's all about! Let yourself go. Find a song you absolutely LOVE and play it like the world's going to end. Passion. There's a quote about music that I love: "Music is what feelings sound like."

Good luck :). Keep going!!! Add me if you fancy a girlie/music chat.

I think that you have great potential. I believe that you sang the song good but could sing a different kind of music better. I sing and there are different types of music that do not compliment my voice. I enjoyed the video and hope that you keep singing and playing...you will be fantastic with a bit more practice.

I have always been a sucker for a chic that can play the piano..., If I were wanting to be an American Idol judge on teh singing I think I would go with a Randy Johnson type let down....
