Hillary or Obama or John Edwards would be nice, but I'll bet that the right-wingers go on the warpath against America again if we get any of them.

Rudy and Mitt are WAY too "PC" for my tastes, and Huckabee is simply not American enough. I like some of Ron Paul's ideas, but the overall package just doesn't work.

Who do I suspect? Clinton.

Who do I hope for? Fred Thompson. His views on nearly every subject correspond closely to mine, and I at least respect the ones that don't. I really like his practical and realistic views on topics like immigration and the war in Iraq, which will both be big issues for the next President. Finally, he's the kind of guy who can talk the talk AND walk the walk. He can make a point clearly and put plans into actions. Honestly, I'd like to vote Republican in 2008, but if Thompson doesn't make it as our candidate I'll probably end up voting Independent. He's the only Republican candidate I'd happily vote for, and I'm sorry but I really do not like any of the Democratic ones.

I am hoping Obama. I think if he gets the nomination he will be able to win the general election. But the party panders to the further left (like the Republicans pander to the far right) and Hillary seems to have that so she could get the nod there. The moderates in both parties and independents, which together make up the majority, kind of get shut out in the primaries and then have to decide on polarizing issues.

Well, I'm in support of Mitt Romney, because he shares my political views. Or I share his. Which ever. But he probably won't win. I don't know who'll win, but heaven help us if it's Hillary Clinton. She isn't going to do what's best for the country, she's going to do what's best for her. And then Rudy Giuliani, as mean as this sounds, is pretty much the joke of this election. He doesn't even have the support of his kids! If he can't even keep his family in order, I'm not really sure he can keep the entire country in order. Obama seems to be intelligent and, I guess as honest as a politician can get, but I'm not sure he has the experience to be President.
All I know is, we're gonna need somebody awesome to clean up after Bush.

I suspect Hillary although she's not among my top choices.

I think Kucinich speaks the truth and has been on the right side of almost every major vote in congress. He does what he thinks is right, not what he thinks will get him elected. And sadly, he wont get elected.

I suspect it will be a Democrat, though Hillary may not be able to carry it if she gets the nomination.

I saw somewhere there was some Republican support for Obama (not a great amount, but some were saying they would vote for him before they would some of the Republican candidates). Don't know how true this is; but if he gets the Democratic nomination, I'd say Obama would win.

No one has won my vote yet, and from what I've seen, I'm not sure any of them will.
I kinda like Fred Thompson, but I know he hasn't got a snowballs chance of winning the primary

I don't really have a particular candidate that I fully support or is excited for but if Hillary or Huckabee wins, I'm moving north of the border.....

I like Dodd and McCain. Neither of which I believe will get the nomination from their parties. Other than that I will send my vote Obamas way if he gets the nomination.
